Mission Statement:
Hocking County Victim Services is a program dedicated to supporting crime survivors. We help reduce the trauma that survivors experience by empowering them to have a voice in the judicial system.

Services provided:

  • Legal advocacy (Attend court with survivors of crime)
  • Notification of court hearings
  • Assistance with Civil Protection Orders
  • Advocacy with other agencies
  • Information and referrals to social service agencies
  • Liaison between victims of crime and prosecutor and/or law enforcement
  • Assist with Ohio Victim of Crime Compensation applications

Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children http://www.casaforchildren.org CASA supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so every abused or neglected child in the United States can be safe, have a permanent home and the opportunity to thrive.

Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center Toolkit https://victimsrightstoolkit.com This toolkit is designed to help victims of Ohio and federal crimes understand and exercise their rights. If a crime victim is having difficulty exercising his or her rights, he or she may contact the Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center to request assistance.
