A Coroner’s Report from the Hocking County Coroner’s Office includes:

  • a Finding of Fact and Verdict page
  • the Forensics Pathologist’s Autopsy or External Examination Protocol
  • and a Toxicology Report (if toxicology testing was performed).

Coroner’s reports become public record once the case is completed. Anyone may request a copy of any report. All hard copies of the Coroner’s reports are certified, our office is unable to certify electronic copies.

Anyone requesting a Coroner’s Report may choose to receive the report via email, mail, or may pick up the report in person at the office at a scheduled appointment. Please indicate your chosen method to receive the Coroner's Report and enter any special instructions in the notes section of the request form. Any request without a method to receive it indicated will be mailed.
